"He knows I won" - Jared Gordon jibes at Paddy Pimblett's injury claims in response to 'The Baddy's fiery call out for rematch
Paddy Pimblett's return to the octagon is nearing after the unranked lightweight prospect underwent a successful ankle surgery. 'The Baddy' recently attributed his poor performance at UFC 282, where he controversially defeated Jared Gordon via unanimous decision, to the injury.
Gordon caught news of Pimblett's comments, responding via Twitter, stating:
"Funny thing is going into this fight I had an ankle injury as well, documented by UFC. I couldn’t walk for weeks after our fight too. I get why he’s angry. He knows I won. Like the rest of the world…"

While many fans and fighters felt that Jared Gordon did enough to hand Paddy Pimblett the first loss of his UFC career, all three judges saw the bout differently. 'The Baddy' claimed that he won the bout, however, he later admitted that criticism from former UFC star Nate Diaz and commentator Joe Rogan bothered him:
"I don't care what most armchairs say to be honest. That doesn't bother me. When pros like Nate Diaz and that say that you're not winning, Joe Rogan says that you don't win, that's when you think, 'f**king h**l', but people sitting on their armchair and comment on my YouTube and my Instagram, I don't care about it. It's actual pros who thought I lost."

While Pimblett remains on the sidelines to recover from ankle surgery, he added that he is willing to rematch Gordon. The latter is set to face Bobby Green at UFC Fight Night 222 next month.
Paddy Pimblett's return: What did 'The Baddy' say about Jared Gordon?
While Paddy Pimblett is recovering from surgery, he has revealed that he wants to face Jared Gordon in his return. Speaking from his hospital bed, the lightweight prospect stated:
"I want to punch his head in towards the end of the year. I am going to run it back. I hope he beats Bobby Green, because I'll snap his arm for him in a round. Had a boxing match with him and I still won, because you're s**t."
"I hope he watches this. You're f**king dog s**t. At my worst, you couldn't beat me at your best. Injured, everything going wrong, and you couldn't beat me on my worst day, and I beat you on your best, because you're a little bum."
