“He left a very good legacy” - Regian Eersel pays homage to recently retired English Muay Thai legend Liam Harrison
Regian Eersel embodies the saying 'game recognizes game' as he pays homage to the recently retired Muay Thai Legend Liam Harrison of England.
Eersel, who is currently deep in his own preparation to reclaim his ONE lightweight kickboxing world title in a rematch with Alexis Nicolas at ONE Fight Night 25 on October 4, made time to share his sentiment about Harrison.
The Englishman decided to retire after he failed to take the 'W' in his last fight with ONE Championship against Seksan Or Kwanmuang at ONE 168: Denver.
Thus, the Surinamese phenom spoke with MMA UK YouTube channel in a recent interview, where he conveyed his thoughts of 'Hitman', a legend who left a great legacy on his own rights.

"Yes, the GOAT of England. The Muay Thai GOAT of England."
He explained why he sees Harrison as the GOAT:
"You see, time and age in the fighting world doesn't go well. And I think for every fighter, it's the saddest moment. One of the saddest moments of their career is when they put the gloves down. But he left a very good legacy."
