"He pointed a gun on me" - Muhammad Mokaev discloses spine-chilling encounter with Iraqi UFC flyweight after being cut from the promotion
Muhammad Mokaev has revealed a scary encounter with an Iraqi UFC fighter. An MMA media outlet named Home of Fight recently released a video that showed 'The Punisher' speaking about his altercation with fellow flyweight Amir Albazi.
Mokaev shared how Albazi came up to him and got into a fighting stance. Then, when Mokaev followed suit, 'The Prince' pulled out a gun and pointed it at him.
The 24-year-old shared that he and his friends drove away while Albazi was still hurling threats at them. Mokaev ended by calling the fellow flyweight a 'coward' for his actions.
"Albazi was standing around the corner. Albazi, number two ranked in my division. He acted unusual. He ran out of the car and got into a fighting stance. At that time, he had a neck operation. I thought that if I beat him now, he will go to the police. He is like that, I got into fighting stance too and he pointed a gun on me. I had my friend with me. My friend tried to clinch him. Albazi didn't do anything. We drove away. He was still shouting at us, saying it's better if we leave. If you point a gun at a guy from your division, shows how big of a coward you are."

Muhammad Mokaev expresses interest in fighting Demetrious Johnson
In the midst of the ongoing drama with the UFC, flyweight Muhammad Mokaev has expressed his wish to fight MMA legend Demetrious Johnson. In a video uploaded by Home of Fight, 'The Punisher' spoke about the potential matchup.
Mokaev showered praise on 'Mighty Mouse', hailing him as a legend. Furthermore, he opined that Johnson is a better fighter than the current UFC flyweight king Alexandre Pantoja.
"I think it is the best fight we can make right now. Because I think 'Mighty Mouse' is better than [Alexandre] Pantoja. Everybody knows it. He's a legend. I would beat Pantoja for sure, but for the fight with 'Mighty Mouse', I would prepare really hard. I would prepare for the fight with Pantoja like any other fight."
