“He’s absolutely insane” - Liam Harrison is hyped up for impending Denver clash against fellow legend Seksan at ONE 168
Liam Harrison will always be one of the most exciting fighters in Muay Thai history, and nothing gets him more amped up than taking on a striker with the same inner fire.
He'll get that opportunity when he takes on fellow legend Seksan in a catchweight Muay Thai bout at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 at Ball Arena.
In an interview snippet he shared on Instagram, Harrison revealed that Seksan is one of his favorite fighters and fighting the Thai superstar in Denver is an honor in and of itself.
Liam Harrison said:
"One of my heroes for years. He's like one of the most exciting fighters ever, he's called Seksan. He's so exciting, he's so crazy, and I think me and him can really create something special for the fans. He's absolutely insane."
Seksan and Harrison are two of the premier proponents of Muay Thai's hard-hitting 2000s era and both fighters have encapsulated the sport's explosive yet artistic nature.
Harrison collected 90 wins and eight world titles since starting his professional career in 1999.
Seksan, meanwhile, recently eclipsed the double-century win mark and currently holds 201 wins in his career.
'The Man Who Yields To No One' was also a four-time Muay Thai world champion, with world titles under Rajadamnern Stadium and WBC Muay Thai.
Tickets for ONE 168: Denver are available at Ticketmaster.
Liam Harrison says UK fans are hyped for his legends clash against Seksan
There's no denying the fact that Seksan and Liam Harrison are two of the most accomplished Muay Thai fighters of their generation.
With nearly 300 wins between them, Harrison and Seksan have nothing left to prove, and fans in the United Kingdom are clamoring for them to finally throw down in Denver.
Harrison told Sky Sports MMA Club that British fans are more than hyped to see "two older guys" brandish their style on the big stage.
"The UK fans want to see me and Seksan, two older guys going at it. Who has [bleep] left in the tank but has got nothing left to prove."
