"He's the better boxer" - UFC champion Leon Edwards predicts potential Jake Paul vs. KSI fight

Leon Edwards made his pick between Jake Paul and KSI ahead of a potential fight between the pair.

Jake Paul and KSI are sworn rivals, who have vowed to fight each other in the boxing ring. The British YouTuber has stated multiple times that the main aim of his return to boxing was so he could fight and beat 'The Problem Child'.

In a recent interview with ESPN UK, the welterweight champion was asked to choose between two things and the first two options were Paul and 'The Nightmare'

Edwards responded by saying:

"Jake Paul, I think he's a better boxer."

Leon Edwards believes Jake Paul is the better boxer between the pair and fans in the comments sections were surprised to hear his answer since many believed he would choose KSI, a fellow Brit.

However, Edwards is not the only one who shares this opinion. Even Joe Rogan has stated during a podcast that 'The Problem Child' is actually a great boxer.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul definitely has the resume to back it up with wins over former UFC champions, and not just winning via decision but via vicious knockouts. He has earned himself a name in the boxing world.

Dave Lovell tears up as he recalls historic last round between Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman

At UFC 278, Leon Edwards shocked the world when he unleashed a kick that knocked out Kamaru Usman in the last minute of the last round of his championship fight. A video of his coach Dave Lovell motivating him before the round went viral on the internet.

In a recent interview, Ariel Helwani asked Lovell what his thoughts were during that time:

"Well, I'm going to be honest Ariel, when I read him the right hand, I went back to the corner, I said a little prayer to myself (breaks into tears), one moment. I just wanted him to go out on a shield, I didn't want him to go out like a lamb."

The fight and the post-fight interview will go down as one of the most iconic moments in the octagon. Lovell could not control his excitement when Edwards knocked Usman out. He was jumping with joy inside the octagon, embracing and congratulating his long-time student. 'Rocky' and his trainer will look to replicate that result this weekend in the trilogy fight between the pair at UFC 286.
