Cain Velasquez allowed to remove tracker to attend Luchas Libres, but on an expensive condition, reveals 'Big' John McCarthy

Cain Velasquez was recently released from custody after spending almost eight months in detention. The fighter, who was charged with several offenses (including attempted murder), was recently released on bail but is under home detention with GPS monitoring.

Following the release, Velasquez's team made attempts to seek permission from the concerned legal authorities to allow him to take part in the upcoming Lucha Libre AAA show at the Mullett Arena at Arizona State University, Tempe.

Following a recent hearing, Judge Arthur Bocanegra ruled that Velasquez may fly to Tempe, Arizona, to compete in the upcoming pro wrestling event from December 1 to December 4. The fighter's GPS tracker will be turned off during this time.

Cain Velasquez will be allowed to wrestle at Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide on Dec. 3 in Arizona, a judge just ruled. He will have his GPS monitor removed, but will have to take a law enforcement officer with him. Story headed to @MMAjunkie.

Even though the fighter is no longer required to wear the tracker until the specified time period, he has been ordered to take a law enforcement officer along with him until the 4th of December.

Commenting on the matter, on a recent edition of their Weighing In podcast, host John McCarthy had this to say:

"Well, he doesn't have to wear a tracker... that's because he will have a person... a police officer... a person with the judicial system who would be with him the entire time... he has to pay for that out of pocket, to have that person, for that tracker to come off... He is definitely being watched. It's not like they don't know where he is at and what he is doing. So, the tracker part, yes, he has got a tracker, it's a human tracker."

Dana White reacts to Cain Velasquez's recent release after eight months in custody

In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, UFC boss Dana White shared his thoughts on the former two-time champion:

"I'm hoping that the judge that looks at this case goes, 'You know what? This family has suffered enough.' As if the kids haven't suffered enough in this thing, they lost their father for almost a year. So hopefully the real justice gets served in this case and Cain Velasquez, who is a good man, a good father, a good husband, get's to be at home with his family."
