"He's embarrassing all of us"- Joe Rogan and Joaquin Buckley discuss Jake Paul fighting retired MMA fighters and his potential next opponent

During his recent appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, Joaquin Buckley revealed his disapproval of Jake Paul's pattern of calling out retired MMA fighters, as well as his campaign to secure better healthcare and pay for MMA athletes.

Paul is coming off a massive win over UFC legend Anderson Silva, and already holds wins over former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley and former ONE and Bellator champion Ben Askren. 'The Problem Child' has also been quite vocal about his intention to create a fighters' union to benefit MMA competitors.

During a recent episode of the JRE MMA Show, Joaquin Buckley commended Paul for his savvy promotional skills, before claiming that the YouTuber-turned-boxer is "embarrassing" the MMA community:

"He's [Jake Paul] doing it smart but at the same time he's embarrassing all of us. Like for real. It's sad that he's saying all these different things and he's talking about having these real conversations that need to be had, but it's coming from him. It's not a conversation for him to have."

Paul's record currently stands at 6-0. While who his next opponent will be is still unclear, former UFC star Nate Diaz and controversial internet personality Andrew Tate appear to be the frontrunners. Speculating on the same, Joe Rogan said:

"Well, the Diaz fight is a big name and a money fight, but he's [Jake Paul] is a lot bigger, he's a lot bigger than Nate."

Jake Paul thanks Joe Rogan for praising his performance against Anderson Silva

Jake Paul's fights tend to draw quite a bit of attention online. A running theme across his last few fights is some questioning the legitimacy of the results. With some viewers labeling his fight against Anderson Silva "rigged," Paul has found an ally in Joe Rogan.

On a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the UFC commentator slammed those who question Paul's skills. The popular comedian hailed the social media star's boxing ability, saying:

"That dude hits f***ing hard... That's legit as f**k. Anybody who says it's not legit is crazy. He cracked him. He can fight."

Paul subsequently took to Instagram to thank Rogan.

Jake Paul is yet to fight an established professional boxer, although he has tried to do so. His scheduled bouts against pro boxers Hasim Rahman Jr. and Tommy Fury fell through at the eleventh hour.

After Nate Diaz fought out his UFC contract in September, a fight between the Stockton native and 'The Problem Child' appeared to be next. However, Paul recently teased a fight against former kickboxing world champion Andrew Tate, who like Paul is a polarizing internet personality.
