“He’s a fast guy” - John Lineker looking to catch elusive Asa Ten Pow in Muay Thai debut at ONE 168
Former undisputed ONE bantamweight MMA world champion 'Hands of Stone' John Lineker of Brazil knows he has his work cut out for him when he meets American Asa Ten Pow in the Circle next weekend.
After all, Lineker is stepping onto a completely different battlefield when he makes his ONE Championship Muay Thai debut at ONE 168.
Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Lineker shared his thoughts on his upcoming Muay Thai showdown with Ten Pow.
'Hands of Stone' said:
"From what I’ve seen, he’s a fast guy who moves around a lot. He uses kicks and front attacks very well. He also works well with straight punches and uses his elbows a lot."
That being said, Lineker himself is known for the dynamite in his hands and his concussive knockout power, which he will get to showcase again very soon.
'Hands of Stone' John Lineker is set to make his ONE Muay Thai debut against Asa Ten Pow at ONE 168: Denver, which broadcasts live from the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, on Friday, September 6.

He's excited and says it's all about putting himself through the toughest challenges and pushing himself to the limit.
Lineker told ONE:
"It’s going to be a very tough fight! It’s going to be a great show because it’s going to be all about striking. Everything is on the table. I want to test myself more and more."
