"He's infatuated by the idea"- Devin Haney’s father gets brutally honest on son's viral pic with Diddy, Ryan Garcia’s comments

Devin Haney's father, Bill Haney, recently sat down with DJ Vlad on YouTube to address his son's photo with P. Diddy that Ryan Garcia has been circulating. Garcia, who is a former opponent and rival of Devin Haney, released a photo of the former WBC champ shirtless with the alleged sex trafficker in one of his famous pool parties.

When asked what's the story behind the picture, Haney said:

"I think, you know, he's [Garcia's] infatuated with the idea and fantasizing about Diddy. See, all these guys they be really thinking about Diddy and they be bringing him up. He got Diddy on his mind."

Haney added:

"Because if you as a man, you look at a picture of two men and you think that they're doing anything other than taking a picture, there might be something wrong with you and not something wrong with the people in the picture. Because you're imagining that sh*t, Ryan. You got that sh*t on your mind. Get Diddy off your mind, man, and get enrolled in that drug program over at VADA."

P. Diddy (real name Sean Combs), a Grammy-winning recording artist, is now facing charges of alleged sex trafficking and racketeering. It's been alleged that Combs had been involved in and perpetrated several sexual assaults and misconducts dating back to the early 90's. Seeing someone in a picture with him will certainly raise some eyebrows today.

Devin Haney's father addresses criticisms over son's lawsuit against Ryan Garcia

At the moment, Devin Haney is embroiled in a legal battle against Ryan Garcia, whom he is suing for alleged battery, fraud, and unjust enrichment. This is after Haney lost to Garcia via majority decision and then the result turned to a No-Contest after Garcia tested positive for PEDs.

On top of this, Garcia also weighed in significantly overweight for the fight, which Haney's camp claimed to have contributed to him winning that night. According to Haney's 16-page lawsuit document, at no time did he "consent to engage in a bout against a boxer who was positive for PEDs".

Some fellow fighters were calling this move petty, as Haney might be the first boxer in history to sue his opponent after losing to him. Bill Haney addressed these criticisms in the aforementioned interview, saying:

"It has nothing to do with the fight. It has everything to do with the business that went into the fight. We signed up for a fair fight. We didn't sign up for a fight that you can be on Ostarine. And that's what the crux of [what] the lawsuit is all about."
