“He’s not just an 18-year-old kid” - Christian Lee warns future opponents not to sleep on little bro Adrian Lee
Reigning and undisputed ONE lightweight and welterweight MMA world champion 'The Warrior' Christian Lee is proud of his younger brother, fellow ONE Championship athlete 'The Phenom' Adrian Lee for what he has achieved so far at such a young age.
Adrian is only 18 years of age, but already, 'The Phenom' competes among the very best in the world's largest martial arts organization.
It's easy to write a teenager off in anything, with a perceived lack of experience, let alone one who competes at the highest level of martial arts in ONE Championship. But Christian Lee warns would-be opponents not to underestimate his little bro.
Speaking to Cageside Press in a recent interview, Lee had lots to say about his younger sibling's rise:
"It’s so great. Late last year, we started talking about if he wanted to enter ONE Championship. So we started training more and more and I took on the role as his head coach going into his career. So just watching him grow, seeing how much he really enjoys training, how he really enjoys martial arts and the sport as a whole is so amazing."
Lee added:
"He’s not just an 18-year-old kid who’s doing this and got a shot at ONE Championship because he’s got the same last name, he really put in the work. I tested him against so many high-level pro athletes and he’s definitely world caliber. The thing is he’s still just 18, he’s still growing and he’s already so talented. I have no doubt that he’s going to be the next World Champion."

'The Warrior' Christian Lee is ready to make his highly anticipated comeback after nearly two years on hiatus following the tragic death of his younger sister, Victoria 'The Prodigy' Lee.
The two-division MMA champ Lee is set to defend his ONE lightweight MMA world title against undefeated Turkish star Alibeg Rasulov at ONE 169: Atlanta.
The event broadcasts live from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday, Nov. 8.
