“He’s doing it without care” - Jonathan Haggerty admires Superlek’s careless kicking game

Reigning and undisputed ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion 'The General' Jonathan Haggerty of the United Kingdom is a huge fan of upcoming opponent 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9.

The 27-year-old Englishman says he has watched Superlek fight since he started training in Muay Thai, and as such, 'The General' has studied the Thai icon extensively.

Speaking to the Sky Sports MMA Club in a recent interview, Haggerty was in complete awe of Superlek's nasty leg kicking game.

'The General' stated:

"Heavy kicks to the leg, the bruises. He’s doing it without care in his last fight! I remembered watching it. I think he snapped something in his leg for kicking him, but you can block a kick, I know it’s easier said than done, that’s gonna be the plan. Making sure he doesn’t get his kicks off me."

Superlek fought and defeated Japanese kickboxing superstar and former K-1 world champion Takeru Segawa in his last fight. The Thai star utilized a heavy kicking game to batter 'The Natural Born Crusher' to the legs, en route to a unanimous decision win.

Needless to say, Haggerty was impressed. However, he also used the opportunity to study Superlek even further to prepare for their upcoming showdown.
