"He should be in WWE, he would make a fortune" - Fans react as John Fury goes off on Tony Bellew
John Fury has once again made headlines during the 'Ring of Fire' fight week, and fans are taking note of his behavior. A few days after headbutting a member of Oleksandr Usyk's team, Fury sent out a heated message to former boxer Tony Bellew.
In a video, Fury challenged Bellew to meet him face-to-face, saying:
"By the way, Bellew got his a** handed to him by a bantamweight when he was young called Michael Gomez. Michael Gomez flattened him... The YouTubers, they like talking down a camera. If you want to come and see me, I'm here. And I'm ready. I'm stepping back from no man no matter who they are."
Fury's comments were a response to Bellew criticizing him earlier in the week. The former boxer accused the 59-year-old of allowing his son's success to get to his head.
With fans enjoying the drama unfolding, one X user claimed Fury should sign with the WWE, believing the Brit would "make a fortune" in professional wrestling.
They commented:
"He should be in WWE, he would make a fortune"
Most other fans disapproved of John Fury seemingly stealing the spotlight from his son, Tyson Fury.
Other fans commented:
"Embarrassing for his son. No need."
"He's right though I was there Gomez schooled him"
"This weekend about you or your son"

Tony Bellew's comments to John Fury
In his clap back to John Fury's mention of him during the Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk fight week, Tony Bellew claimed he has "achieved more in 60 seconds" than the 59-year-old has in his entire life.
In an angry statement, Bellew also said Fury got his "arse handed to him" by Henry Akinwande, noting the lone knockout loss in the career of the older Fury.
Bellew said:
"No one can headbutt me. I achieved more in 60 seconds than John Fury's achieved in his life... Just because something shot out of your n*** and became one of the greatest heavyweights in the world, that does not mean you can validate your opinion on every other fighter."
Retiring with an 8-4-1 boxing record, Fury owned the nickname 'Gypsy' leading to his son adopting the moniker 'The Gypsy King' later in his own career.
