Henry Cejudo and Aljamain Sterling insult Sean O'Malley's latest tweets
Henry Cejudo and Aljamain Sterling have gone in on Sean O'Malley after the Arizona native tweeted that he wants them to fight in March instead of April next year so that O'Malley could fight the winner in July.
'Sugar' tweeted:
"I wanna fight in July at latest, so Aljo and Harry need to fight in March. Not April. Hustle up."
In response to this apparent callout to both fighters simultaneously, Cejudo responded by hilariously pulling parallels between the controversial decision wins of Paddy Pimblett and O'Malley against Jared Gordon and Petr Yan respectively. He wrote:
"Hey @SugaSeanMMA, You should fight Paddy… the judges won’t know who to rob."

While it is no secret that Sterling and Cejudo aren't on the best terms, often exchanging barbs on social media, 'Funk Master' surprisingly found Cejudo's reply amusing and also joined in claiming that he offered O'Malley the title shot before.
"This was actually funny Harry."
He further tweeted:
"I offered you the title shot, and you took an easier way out than Aljo vs Yan I."
Aljamain Sterling is reportedly set to put his bantamweight title on the line against Henry Cejudo in a bout that will also see 'Triple C' making his return to the UFC octagon after he announced his retirement in 2020. 'Funk Master' seemed to confirm the news on his YouTube channel after the two even faced off at the 2022 PFL championship finals.

Aljamain Sterling claims Sean O'Malley is getting preferential treatment from the UFC
Aljamain Sterling recently claimed that the UFC is giving Sean O'Malley the golden boy treatment and that he's certain that the promotion is delaying the title fight to ensure that 'Sugar's grappling skills are on par with the bantamweight champion.
On a recent episode of his podcast, Sterling recalled his conversations with the UFC staff regarding a potential fight against O'Malley:
"It's just funny for me to have a meeting with the staff, and for them to pretty much say, 'Yeah, we know you're gonna kill this guy, bro.' Pretty much not in those same exact words, but that's what they said, 'We know your grappling is a lot better, and he [O'Malley] needs time to pretty much close the gap'... I'm like, 'So, you're just saying without saying -- You want him to win."

Sean O'Malley shocked MMA fans worldwide when he pulled off a controversial decision victory over Petr Yan at UFC 280, hoisting himself up to the No.1 rank in the bantamweight division. Sterling also beat an injured T.J. Dillashaw on the same card.
While Aljamain Sterling seems all set to face Henry Cejudo for his next title defense, fans have wondered if Sean O'Malley is a better matchup for the Jamaican-American.
