Henry Cejudo takes cheeky jab at Sean O'Malley’s Noche UFC 306 loss while reacting to opening for Donald Trump in Texas

After his loss to Merab Dvalishvili at Noche UFC 306, many were not letting Sean O'Malley off easy with the way he handled the pre-fight build-up. Unsurprisingly, Henry Cejudo was one of the many who made sure to rub the defeat in O'Malley's face.

Cejudo simultaneously used the opportunity to make another post on Donald Trump bringing him up to the podium in Las Vegas on Sept. 13. 'Triple C' re-posted a video of his speech, calling it "better news than Sean getting 50-45."

Cejudo's caption read:

"In better news than Sean getting 50-45. I had the opportunity to open for the president two nights ago. Let's make America great again and vote for the president Donald J. Trump! Sincerely, Henry Menudo."

O'Malley did not lose by a score of 50-45 on either of the three judges' scorecards but was thoroughly dominated for most of the 25 minutes in the Noche UFC 306 main event. 'Sugar' could not get his striking going for the entire fight while being controlled and out-muscled by Dvalishvili's wrestling.

Cejudo also poked fun at Trump for botching his name when introducing him by ending his post by calling himself "Henry Menudo." The clip of Trump struggling to say Cejudo's name went viral on social media with MMA Twitter loving the interaction.

Henry Cejudo calls out Sean O'Malley on X

Before he mocked Sean O'Malley for his loss on Instagram, Henry Cejudo called out the former bantamweight champion on X for a fight now that the two are coming off losses.

Cejudo called the 29-year-old "O'Methyl" and offered to teach him "wrestling for cokeheads" after he ceded six takedowns to Merab Dvalishvili. 'Triple C' compared O'Malley to Conor McGregor, whom he said also cannot defend wrestling.

The former double champion told Kamaru Usman on the Pound 4 Pound podcast that a fight with O'Malley would be the only fight he wants at bantamweight. Cejudo noted that if he does not get O'Malley, he is preparing himself to move back down to flyweight.
