Here are three undefeated stars who could keep their perfect records at ONE 168
ONE Championship will host its second live on-ground event in the United States this week with ONE 168, bringing with it fighters boasting unblemished records and are out to maintain them.
Among those fighters are Johan Estupinan, Adrian Lee, and Samat Mamedov, who are all featured against separate opponents at ONE 168 in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A. on Sept. 6.
Colombia's Estupinan kicks off the event, which will take place at the Ball Arena, in a flyweight Muay Thai showdown against Road to ONE winner Sean 'The ONE' Climaco.
He made his promotional debut in May this year and has been impressive with back-to-back victories, including a 27-second knockout of Japanese Kouta Omori in his maiden outing, heading into ONE 168.
Also out to stay undefeated is Lee, younger brother of reigning ONE lightweight and welterweight MMA world champion Christian Lee. The 18-year-old phenom had his first match in the promotion back in June, winning by submission in the opening round over Antonio Mammarella of Australia.
'The Phenom' seeks to make it two from two at ONE 168 when he battles American Nico 'The Steel City Kid' Cornejo in a lightweight MMA showdown.
Mamedov, for his part, will be making his promotional debut at ONE 168 and is packing a lot of momentum, undefeated in 10 professional MMA fights so far. He boasts of a ferocious power and always goes for the finish, something he looks to showcase in his lightweight battle with Swiss Maurice Abevi.
ONE Championship seeks to shore up U.S. presence with ONE 168 in Denver
ONE Championship is out to shore up its presence in the United States when it returns there on Sept. 6 for ONE 168: Denver.
The event, which will take place at the Ball Arena in the 'Mile High City', will be the second live on-ground show of the promotion in the U.S. following the well-received ONE Fight Night 10 in May last year, also in Colorado.
It also sets up the next event of ONE in the U.S., happening in Atlanta, Georgia, in November.
ONE 168 is headlined by the world title super fight between ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Jonathan Haggerty and flyweight kickboxing king Superlek Kiatmoo9 for the former's belt.
ONE 168: Denver will air live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription. Tickets for the event are available for purchase on Ticketmaster.
