"Hero of Myanmar" - Fans give Burmese legend Aung La N Sang his due praises ahead of return at ONE 168: Denver

Myanmar's national hero, Aung La N Sang, has put his country onto the mixed martial arts map with his incredible run with ONE Championship after he became a two-division MMA world champion.

The world's largest martial arts organization has compiled all his victories under the promotion through a recent YouTube video they posted. They wrote the video's description with:

"Ahead of former two-division ONE MMA World Champion Aung La N Sang's return to action against Turkish powerhouse Shamil Erdogan, relive his remarkable journey in ONE so far!"

In the video, they featured the outstanding performances of 'The Burmese Python' and his wins over the likes of Vitaly Bigdash, Alain Ngalani, Ken Hasegawa (twice), Brandon Vera, Yushin Okami, Gilberto Galvao, and Fan Rong.

Aung La N Sang makes a much-awaited return on Sept. 6 at ONE 168: Denver

After 16 months away from action, the Kill Cliff FC representative will make his highly anticipated comeback to action on Sept. 6 against Shamil Erdogan in a middleweight MMA match in front of American fans inside the Ball Arena in Colorado.

The 39-year-old veteran is looking to extend his current win streak to four and guns for his 15th win in ONE Championship since making his debut in March 2016. A win for Aung La could earn him another crack for the ONE middleweight world title.

ONE 168: Denver will air live from the Ball Arena in U.S. primetime on Sept. 6. Tickets for the events are available on Ticketmaster.
