“His body needs to be f**king donated to science” - Liam Harrison says Seksan’s chin was unreal in Muay Thai barnburner at ONE 168
British Muay Thai icon and former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title challenger 'Hitman' Liam Harrison of the United Kingdom announced his retirement from Muay Thai last weekend at the recently concluded ONE 168: Denver.
Harrison lost via second-round technical knockout to Thai legend 'The Man Who Yields To No One' Seksan Or Kwanmuang before a packed Ball Arena crowd in Denver, Colorado.
'Hitman' looked every bit of his former self in the Circle, but Seksan proved far too durable and was way too much for the 38-year-old Brit to handle.
He addressed the media at the ONE 168: Denver official press conference:
"Honestly, his body needs to be f**king donated to science. He’s a terminator, that guy. Honestly."
Harrison threw everything but the kitchen sink at Seksan, who didn't so much as flinch in the face of adversity. The fiery Englishman tried his best to hit Seksan with his best shots, but 'The Man Who Yields To No One' refused to fold.
Eventually, Harrison succumbed to the immense pressure, falling by TKO inside the distance.
If anything, this fight proved that Seksan is not of this world, and that his inhuman capability to absorb shots is the stuff that nightmares are made of.
Fans in the United States and Canada can catch all the action of ONE 168: Denver via replay on demand via Amazon Prime Video.
Liam Harrison knew it was over when he realized he couldn't take the punishment: "I know I just can't anymore"
British legend 'Hitman' Liam Harrison took on heavy fire from Seksan Or Kwanmuang at ONE 168: Denver, but with every shot he absorbed, the 38-year-old realized he just no longer had the physicality to keep up with his opponent.
He told the media:
"Yeah, I'll always get up if I get knocked down. But just a few years ago, those shots wouldn't have put me down. I'd have walked through them. And that's the thing I've got. The heart, in abundance, still. It's just that I haven't got the physical attributes that need to go with that. And if you can't take the damage, which you need to be able to take as much as you can get, I know I just can't anymore."
