"His body vanished" - Joe Rogan and former CIA officer Mike Baker weigh in on Donald Trump assassination attempt debate

While the whole world has seemingly moved past the Donald Trump assassination attempt, Joe Rogan has continued to discuss the controversial topic on The Joe Rogan Experience. In his latest conversation on the subject, Rogan brought former CIA officer Mike Baker back onto his show.

In his 19th appearance on the podcast, Baker allowed Rogan to give his thoughts on the shooting. The host explained his confusion, saying that the body of the perpetrator, Thomas Matthew Crooks, had "vanished."

Rogan said:

"A few things happened since I last saw you. One guy got shot, and the guy who shot him, his body vanished."

A common guest of the podcast, Baker is a retired CIA covert operations officer with connections to the United States government. Since retiring from the CIA, the 63-year-old has become the CEO of Portman Square Group, a company The Joe Rogan Experience describes as a "global intelligence and security firm."

Rogan and Mike Baker also discussed the conspiracy theories on the shooting, including how several United States citizens claimed it was a staged assassination attempt to boost Trump's public image.

While both Rogan and Baker remained impartial during their discussion, one concept they definitively took a stand on was dismissing conspiracy theories. Both men agreed that people who believe the shooting was staged are irrational, citing the unintentional death of audience member Corey Comperatore as evidence.

Rogan continued:

"[The conspiracy theories are] hilarious. Do you think he cut his ear like a pro wrestler? Like it's all fake? The guy behind him who got murdered, that wasn't real?"

Baker agreed with him, calling anyone who believed the assassination attempt was illegitimate a "psycho."
