"His boxing is not good" - Rodtang insists he's not scared of John Lineker's fearsome knockout power

Rodtang Jitmuangnon is no stranger to being called out throughout his career at the top of the Muay Thai world. The Thai superstar is the biggest name in the sport, and a result of that is that, he is a very in-demand opponent.

One of the latest fighters to call him out is former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion John Lineker. The Brazilian has recently crossed over into Muay Thai, where he has delivered two stunning finishes over Asa Ten Pow and Alexey Balyko.

After stopping Balyko at ONE Fight Night 25, he signaled his interest in clashing with 'The Iron Man' in the near future. Despite the power that the fan-favorite possesses, it takes more than that to impress someone as experienced as Rodtang.

He spoke in a recent interview with ONE Championship, stating that nothing about Lineker's technique will trouble him if they ever do meet:

"His boxing is not good. But, I can't be careless because he has powerful punches. But if you ask if he's scary, he's not that scary."

Rodtang has seen it all at this stage

World-class strikers like Rodtang aren't going to be as worried about the power of John Lineker because they know that they hold the skill and experience advantage.

'The Iron Man' has never backed down from a firefight and is notorious for having one of the toughest and most durable chins in all of combat sports.

He would need to be wary of Lineker's power if they do ever meet, but that's a challenge that the reigning ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion would welcome.

It would surely be one of the most exciting bouts of the year but Lineker's only chance of being competitive is to land his signature power which will not be easy.

Until then, he returns at ONE 169 inside Lumpinee Stadium to defend his title against Jacob Smith in a rematch on Nov. 8.
