Israel Adesanya and Dricus du Plessis are not mincing words previewing their upcoming clash at UFC 305. The thickening tension between the fighters boiled over when du Plessis seemingly hit a nerve and triggered an emotional reaction from Adesanya.
The UFC middleweight champion cast skepticism on Adesanya's claims of hardships while growing up. 'Stillknocks' also ruffled feathers when he questioned his opponent's travel plans to Nigeria with a potential victory at UFC 305, asking whether he would be "taking the servants" with him.
Well known for wearing his heart on his sleeve, Adesanya fired back by asserting that he will "kill" du Plessis' dreams. 'The Last Stylebender' recently posted a video on his YouTube channel throwing a parting shot before the pair settle the feud inside the cage. He said:
"When he mentioned like servants, I was like, 'Who the fu*k are you talking to?' We had maids back in the day. But you don't know what we had to struggle through. What we had to struggle as a family as well... You know nothing about my life. His family is full of incests. Did I bring that up? No! Google it or ask me about it."
Adesanya added:
"Now like I said I'll kill his dreams. I'll kill his fu*king dreams. Next time you'll know not to speak up on my family like that. It's all fuel that I'm going to use to my advantage."

Israel Adesanya will make an attempt to capture the UFC middleweight throne for the third time when he takes on Dricus du Plessis at UFC 305, which goes down on Aug. 18 at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia.
Hip hop star Drake, as an established routine, has bet on Adesanya against his past opponents. The 37-year-old has now bet $450,000 on Adesanya to beat du Plessis. If he hits his wager, he’ll get a handsome payout of $855,000.
Drake took to Instagram to show off his wager, writing:
