"Holy sh*t, that felt weird" - Sean O'Malley recalls reaction to Jake Paul knocking down Anderson Silva in recent fight
Sean O'Malley was in attendance at the Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva boxing match that took place on October 29. 'Sugar' has shared a friendship with both Logan and Jake Paul for many years, and was at the event in support of 'The Problem Child'.
O'Malley joined the older Paul brother on the latest episode of the IMPAULSIVE podcast to reflect on the fight. Having been a fan of MMA during the prime years of 'The Spider', O'Malley said that it was a surreal moment to see Silva getting dropped by Paul in round eight:
"To be honest, when I was watching, when he [Jake Paul] dropped him [Silva] it was like, 'Holy s**t, that felt weird!' I was like, 'Oh f**k, that's Anderson!' But obviously, I love Jake, and I was pumped for him. But watching Anderson, I mean, it was f***ing sweet. Jake looked impressive."

Sean O'Malley on Petr Yan bringing out the best version of himself in their fight
Sean O'Malley put on the performance of his career to date two weeks ago when he fought Petr Yan at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi.
Many felt that 'No Mercy' would be too much too soon for 'Sugar', as Yan was ranked No.1 at bantamweight, whereas O'Malley was ranked No.11 heading into the pay-per-view.
However, O'Malley was able to prove his doubters wrong as he went toe-to-toe with Yan for three rounds. The fight was a war, with both men landing powerful shots. Ultimately, 'Sugar' got his hand raised, much to the surprise of many fighters, fans and pundits.
Whilst talking to Logan Paul on the latest episode of the TimboSugarShow podcast, O'Malley said that he knew Yan would bring out the best in him:
"I said I know Petr is gonna bring out the best version of me. I thought Pedro Munhoz was going to. He came in their spazzing, acting like he's playing soccer. Just spamming the kick button. So Petr brought it out of me, he f***ing brought that dog out."
