The Thai hero will look to add another accolade to his legendary resume at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 as he challenges two-sport ONE world champion Jonathan Haggerty for his bantamweight Muay Thai crown.
Jonathan Haggerty eager for shot at revenge against Superlek
Nearly six years ago, Superlek and Jonathan Haggerty first faced one another where the former won via TKO due to a doctor's stoppage - a loss that continues to haunt the United Kingdom star.
'The General', who also holds the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world championship, is determined to exact his revenge inside the Ball Arena.
In an interview with Sky Sports MMA Club, Haggerty stated:
"I fought him before, around seven to eight years ago, and he managed to stop me in the second round due to a cut. But, now it's the time to get revenge, and I'm excited for it."
