What's at stake at ONE Fight Night 25?
26 pounds of solid gold will be hanging in the balance when reigning lightweight kickboxing world champion Alexis Nicolas runs it back with Regian Eersel in the finale.
Repeat or revenge is the theme of this epic five-round all-striking war. Nicolas, who entered as a massive underdog last time out, wants to prove that his monumental win over 'The Immortal' was no fluke.
The Frenchman is ready to take his career to new heights by reasserting his dominance over the Surinamese star and staking his claim as one of the best strikers in the world.
Eersel, on the other hand, is out for the crown that he feels was unjustly taken away. 'The Immortal' fell short on the judges' scorecards the last time he shared the ring with 'Barboza'. This time around, the lightweight Muay Thai champ will hunt for a decisive finish to erase all doubts.
Elsewhere, a pivotal strawweight MMA showdown between ranked contenders Bokang Masunyane and Mansur Malachiev will likely determine who enters the title picture.
John Lineker's second foray in Muay Thai will also take place, along with the return of fellow knockout artists Sinsamut Klinmee, Johan Estupinan, and Danial Williams, among others.
