Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva official prediction shared by the Brazilian's former foe Chael Sonnen

Chael Sonnen has made his pick for the upcoming boxing match between MMA veteran Anderson Silva and YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.

In a recently released video on his YouTube channel, 'The American Gangster' picked former rival Silva to emerge victorious against 'The Problem Child'. According to Sonnen, Paul will have to score a knockout in order to defeat the Brazilian and the scenario seems highly unlikely.

"My final analysis, Jake Paul at 24 years young, perfectly undefeated, all the courage and all the hard work in the world. I believe Jake Paul is going to have to knock Anderson Silva out... With a big pillow on your hand, I do not believe there's very many men that could knock Anderson down, let alone keep him there for 10 seconds. I'm taking 'The Spider'".

You can watch Sonnen casting his official prediction for Paul vs Silva below:

The highly anticipated boxing match between Paul and Silva will take place on October 29. The Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona has been picked as the venue for the fight. The fight will mark Paul's sixth outing as a professional boxer. The 25-year-old is currently undefeated with a 5-0 record, with four of those wins coming by knockout.

Silva will compete in his fifth boxing bout on October 29. The Brazilian is coming off back-to-back wins against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Tito Ortiz.

Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen fought twice in the UFC

Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen together were part of one of the most iconic rivalries in the UFC.

After a memorable callout from 'The American Gangster', Silva took on Sonnen for the first time at UFC 117. The fight was a thrilling affair where Sonnen used his grappling skills to get the better of Silva for the majority of the fight.

When it appeared that 'The American Gangster' would cruise to a decision win, Silva pulled off a triangle armbar out of nowhere and submitted Sonnen with less than two minutes left in the fight.

Their second encounter took place at UFC 148. This time, the Brazilian gave a much better performance and knocked Sonnen out in the second round to retain his middleweight title.
