“I can beat everyone” - Stamp Fairtex ready to go as soon as she fully recovers from injury
Thai superstar Stamp Fairtex is itching to get back in the Circle, but she has to wait until she has fully recovered from her devastating injury. This past June, she was scheduled to defend her title against close friend and former training partner Denice Zamboanga at ONE 167, before having to pull out due to a torn meniscus during training camp.
She immediately went into surgery. Now, she's currently undergoing physical therapy and rehabilitation to get herself back on track.
However, the young atomweight MMA queen was present at ONE Championship's largest weekly event - ONE Friday Fights 81: Superbon vs. Nattawut on Sept. 27, where she spoke with combat sport journalist Nick Atkin on the sidelines.
When asked about a possible trilogy with Alyona Rassohyna, Stamp said:
"I’m fine with whatever. I can take that fight. Just let me heal everything and get back to 100% and I can beat everyone. I can fight everyone."
Speaking about a possible fight with Xiong Jing Nan, she said:
"Yes, it’s a good fight. I want to do it. It means I have a lot of opportunity to gain a lot of experience. [But] it should be a [strawweight] world title defense first."

Stamp Fairtex is restless to get back into competition, and recently opened up on what she sees as the hardest part of her recovery process after she went into surgery for a torn meniscus when preparing for her title defense against Denice Zamboanga back in July.
She said:
"Rebuilding the lost muscles on my leg is the toughest part. I have to recover as much muscle as I can after the surgery."
