“I can figure him out” - Superlek says Jonathan Haggerty’s style is easy to decipher
Superlek Kiatmoo9 seems to be unfazed with his next opponent's skillset ahead of the most awaited main event so far at ONE 168: Denver.
The Thai superstar is slated to challenge two-sport ONE world champion Jonathan Haggerty for his bantamweight Muay Thai belt inside the Ball Arena on Sept. 6.
And, oozing with confidence, Superlek claimed he can easily figure out his opponent when they lock horns. Nonetheless, he also admitted that Haggerty is a good fighter who has reached a different level.
Speaking to South China Morning Post, the ONE flyweight kickboxing king said:
"I'm not saying that he's not good, but I have studied him, and I can see a certain pattern he put up in each fight. And I feel like, okay, I can figure him out."
He further explained:
"There are so many other people that I feel like I have difficult time figuring them out, and I feel Haggerty is not one of them. They are more complicated fighters."
The next question would be whether Superlek will be able to take out Haggerty and claim his golden belt at ONE 168: Denver. Tickets are still available via Ticketmaster.

Superlek grateful for all American fans who embrace Thai athletes
Although Superlek Kiatmoo9 was not in the card when ONE Championship had its groundbreaking spectacle for the first time in the United States, he was in the building to witness the historical ONE Fight Night 10.
He also witnessed firsthand how the U.S. audience welcomed his Thai compatriots, Stamp Fairtex and Rodtang Jitmuangnon, in May 2023, and that memory lasted until he takes on the opportunity to do the same.
Ahead of his next main event tilt in ONE's next U.S. card, ONE 168: Denver, the ONE flyweight kickboxing king told the promotion:
"I was amazed by the crowd cheering for the Thai athletes. It's amazing to see such passion in a foreign land. I love seeing the excitement and the energy in the stadium."
