"I'd love to go to America" - Superbon says he's accept rematch with Tawanchai at ONE 169: Atlanta in a heartbeat

Superbon came into the main event of ONE Friday Fights 81 with one intention in mind, spoiling the plans that had already been put in place.

The interim ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion was looking to put himself back in the mix in the Muay Thai division and he did exactly that.

With a devastating first-round finish over Jo Nattawut, the former title challenger staked his claim for a rematch with the world champion, Tawanchai.

The two men met this past December in a great contest over five rounds where the champion retained.

Considering that Nattawut was already set to face Tawanchai in November at ONE 169 in Atlanta, Superbon is now hoping that this opportunity will fall to him.

He told Nick Atkin in a post-fight interview that he's got his sights on the State Farm Arena:

"I can fight anywhere. I have to watch. I'd love to go to America. I got a lot of fans in America."

This turnaround looks especially possible after he made quick work of his opponent in the first round, signaling that he's ready to jump right back into training:

"Yeah, I'm going to go back to the training camp right now because I didn't get any injury."

Superbon executed his plan to perfection

ONE Friday Fights 81 couldn't have gone much better for Superbon.

Defeating Jo Nattawut without taking significant damage was always going to be a difficult task but he did just that.

It remains unclear what will happen to the scheduled fight in Atlanta on Nov. 8 but we now know that the kickboxing specialist wants to be a part of it.

He even shared a moment with his former foe, Tawanchai, ahead of what could be a huge rematch between the two elite Thai competitors.

The replay of ONE Friday Fights 81 is available at watch.onefc.com for those who purchased the PPV.
