“I don’t think so” - Superlek Kiatmoo9 believes he won’t have much trouble against Jonathan Haggerty in Denver super fight

Superlek Kiatmoo9 knows his upcoming match against two-sport king Jonathan Haggerty will be one of the most, if not the most, important fights of his storied career. The reigning ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion, though, is confident Haggerty won't pose too much of a risk for him when they square off in the main event of ONE 168: Denver.

Superlek will challenge Haggerty for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title on Sept. 6 at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Superlek Kiatmoo9 expressed his unwavering confidence ahead of his super fight against the British superstar.

Superlek even expressed his belief that multiple fighters are better than Haggerty. He said:

"Is Haggerty a tough fight? I don't think so. There are so many fighters who are better than him. So many, so many. And I believe I'm better than Haggerty."

Superlek's claims may be considered preposterous, but no one would doubt the confidence he has during his current tenure with ONE Championship.

'The Kicking Machine' is on a 10-fight winning streak and holds wins over ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Takeru Segawa, Panpayak Jitmuangnon and Daniel Puertas, among others.

Haggerty, meanwhile, is as much of a menace as Superlek is.

'The General' is also in possession of the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world championship and is on a run of six straight wins.

The champ-champ's winning streak also includes three straight knockout wins over Thai legend Nong-O Hama, ONE bantamweight MMA world champion Fabricio Andrade and Felipe Lobo.

Tickets for ONE 168 are available at Ticketmaster.
