"I don't dwell too much on past fights" - Aung La N Sang says his 'on to the next one' approach is key to sustained success
Former two-division MMA world champion Aung La N Sang doesn't feel the need to fixate on the outcome of his matches.
While 'The Burmese Python' celebrates his wins and mourns his losses like every other prizefighter, he's also the type to always focus on what lies ahead.
According to Aung La, it's his mindset of moving on from one match to the next that allowed him to thrive in the fight game throughout the years.
The former middleweight and light heavyweight MMA kingpin said in a Cageside Press interview:
"Yeah, I was ready for anything, you know. I prepared well for that fight [with Fan Rong] just like I am for this fight. I don't really dwell too much on past fights. Yes, I learn from it, but I don't really dwell on it too much."
Aung La N Sang will figure in his 45th career match and 20th bout under the ONE banner this coming Friday, September 6, at Ball Arena.
The Myanmar icon will take on Turkish star undefeated Shamil Erdogan in a possible middleweight MMA world title eliminator at ONE 168: Denver.
One thing's for sure, the 39-year-old war-torn veteran has developed tunnel vision for his upcoming opponent and will stop at nothing to extend his winning streak to four.

Aung La N Sang unbothered by Shamil Erdogan's elite Dagestani wrestling
Facing and beating elite wrestlers is nothing new for Aung La N Sang, so it's comes as no surprise that he's not too worried of Shamil Erdogan.
This Friday, 'The Burmese Python' will take on another feared grappler, whose pressure-heavy style has been the bane of all his nine foes so far.
Aung La, though, is quite confident of the quality training he gets at Kill Cliff FC.
The former double champ said in the same interview:
"We have a lot of good wrestlers here, you know. We got some really good Dagestan wrestlers, Russian grapplers, and we have really good American wrestlers here [at Kill Cliff FC]."
