"I feel like I've seen it all" - Jackie Buntan put herself through the wringer to prep for Anissa Meksen world title fight

Jackie Buntan is excited for one of the biggest challenges of her career when she returns to action at ONE 169.

The Muay Thai specialist has already faced off with some top opponents and proved herself under the ONE Championship banner.

However, on Nov. 8 at Lumpinee Stadium, she will make the switch to kickboxing to face off with Anissa Meksen for the inaugural strawweight kickboxing world championship.

In order to prepare for this match-up, Buntan has been attempting to leave no stone unturned in her training camp.

Putting in the right preparations will allow her to adapt to a new ruleset rather than feeling out of her depth against an experienced and elite opponent.

In a recent interview with Violent Money TV, she spoke about how she has been getting herself ready for a big challenge:

"Will it be difficult - I don't think I'll have that answer until I'm done with the fight. But the idea is to step on all the pins and needles in my training camp. That way, I feel like I've seen it all once I'm in there. That's the goal and that's what I always try to do every fight camp."

Jackie Buntan is confident in her preparation

Unlike Anissa Meksen who has so much high level kickboxing experience to fall back on, Jackie Buntan has to be firing on all cylinders in her training camp.

Fortunately, the Muay Thai striker is very confident in her preparations and her ability to adapt to different styles and opponents.

Being versatile is crucial to this fight and that's something that Buntan believes she does very well already.

Matching the experience of her opponent isn't an option but she can certainly look to make key adjustments both before and during the contest.
