"I am a five-time World Champion in the black belt division, a four-time World No Gi Champion in the black belt division, a four-time European Champion, a three-time Brazilian Champion, a five-time Pan American Champion. And I have won all the world titles in the colored belt division."

She added:

"I decided that I wanted this as a career when I decided that I wanted to be a world champion as a black belt. I competed a lot and had good results. I don't have many losses, I have more wins, especially when I was younger, which made me realize that I could and that I was on the right path to have a career in jiu-jitsu."

Now, Mayssa Bastos is ready to seize the opportunity to become the best in the world by capturing Kelly's world title in the world's largest martial arts organization.
