"I got a lot of things to learn" - Teenage phenom Nabil Anane admits there's still a ton of work to do to reach his full potential

Rising star Nabil Anane recently admitted that he has a lot of work to do before eventually fighting for the world title. The teenage sensation put the bantamweight Muay Thai division on notice last Friday after putting on a clinical performance against former world title challenger 'Demolition Man' Felipe Lobo at ONE Fight Night 24.

The surprising upset has positioned Anane right into the top rankings amongst some of ONE Championship's biggest stars, including Nico Carrillo, Liam Harrison, and Saemapetch Fairtex.

But even Anane can admit that to be among the stars, you have to earn your stripes as a serious contender. Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA at the post-event interviews, the 20-year-old standout said:

"I want to have more experience. I gotta improve myself more and more and more because I did a good performance, but I got a lot of things to learn. But one day will be my day, you know? Like I said, let's wait. No rush."

Coach Mehdi Zatout is proud of Nabil Anane's hard-earned victory at ONE Fight Night 24.

Anane is on the longest run of his ONE Championship career after securing his fourth straight victory in Bangkok on Friday. Coach Mehdi Zatout is particularly impressed by the youngster's growth and evolution, however brief.

Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA, Zatout expressed his delight by saying:

"Just one month ago, we get a big victory against big names, and got the contract. Right away we have [the] opportunity to fight in the global stage, and yes, taking the ranking number 3, [it] was amazing. Happy today, so happy and proud of him."
