“I hope it will be like this for a long time” - Nabil Anane plans to stay dominant in bantamweight conquest

Algerian-Thai star Nabil Anane believes that he will keep his winning streak alive for a long time, regardless of who he fights next. The towering young gun wants to establish a solid career in ONE Championship, and he managed to get a good start with five straight victories following his sole defeat in his debut against Superlek Kiatmoo9.

As a student of the art, Anane thinks that if he continues his work rate and maintains his training regime, he will be able to perform at his best, which is what he showed in his latest win at ONE Friday Fights 81 on Sept. 27.

In the post-event interviews, the 20-year-old shared how he plans on maintaining his streak:

"Just keep the work on. I had a five win streak and I hope it will be like this for a long time. And I would just keep training hard, because nobody wants to lose. I would keep my work like this. So I would train hard and just do my best every time."

Nabil Anane wants a short break before returning to action

Fighting three times in just three months might be taxing for many, but that's not the case for Nabil Anane, who just defeated Soe Lin Oo his latest stint at ONE Friday Fights 81: Superbon vs. Nattawut on Sept. 27.

That said, the young talent also recognized the importance of rest, saying he will take a short break before plunging back into competition.

Speaking to Nick Atkin in an interview after the epic event in Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium, Anane said:

"After this fight, I want to rest a little bit because I fought three fights straight. I just fought once for the past three months, so after this fight maybe take a little rest, maybe two or three months, and then come back again."
