"I would be in jail right now" - Conor McGregor claims CCTV saved him from another allegation that followed the Nikita Hand case
Conor McGregor has made the headlines once more with a series of tweets.
In November, McGregor was found liable for assaulting Nikita Hand. The Irish fighter pleaded his innocence and made it public that he would appeal against the verdict.
Meanwhile, he was instructed by the court to pay €248,000 in damages to Hand and also to cover her legal costs.
On Dec. 17, the Irishman returned to X with multiple tweets. In one of the posts, he encouraged his supporters to “RECORD EVERYTHING.” He further stated that aside from the Hand case, there was another allegation against him. He claimed that CCTV captured the exact incident at the appropriate time and proved his innocence.
McGregor wrote:
"I am telling you now, RECORD EVERYTHING! ...After this accusation happened to me, and the LIES that followed of me attempting to settle this, another allegation happened to me shortly after. Only for cctv captured exactly that moment, in light, I would be in jail right now from it. The public does not know about the second one and why that never came to be. But I do..."
McGregor further stated that the situation had not been made public prior to his post. 'The Notorious' told his fans in another tweet that he is innocent of any wrongdoing and will sue anyone who wrote anything libelous about him.
Conor McGregor teases a fight with Logan Paul
In another post, during which he quashed rumors of a UFC return against Ilia Topuria, McGregor claimed to be in early talks with India's billionaire Ambani family about facing Logan Paul at an exhibition boxing event:
"The rumors of a bout with topurio [Topuria] are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon."
