Sean O'Malley "felt for the MMA community" when Jake Paul knocked down Anderson Silva, calls the fight "the best boxing match" he has ever seen
Sean O'Malley was thoroughly impressed by the eight-round back-and-forth boxing action by Jake Paul and Anderson Silva. While showering praise on both combatants, 'Sugar' also stated that he feels for the MMA community since Paul emerged as the victor against MMA legend Silva.
'The Problem Child' got the better of 'The Spider' in the most arduous test of his pugilism journey so far. Both fighters put on a show in front of the 14,430 fans in attendance at Desert Diamond Arena. A huge knockdown in the final frame of the fight guaranteed a victory for the American who won the bout via unanimous decision.

UFC bantamweight contender Sean O'Malley, who's coming off the biggest win of his pro-MMA career himself, reacted to the fight on his YouTube channel. Even though 'Sugar' was stoked that his "buddy" Jake Paul got his hand raised, the MMA fighter inside him couldn't help but feel for 'Spider':
"That was probably the best boxing match I've ever seen. I literally don't watch boxing like ever. I watch a couple of them here and there. But Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva was sick, especially the front row live right there. I was going for Jake, 'cause I like Jake. He's one of my buddies."
O'Malley added:
"But for some reason it was hard when you knock down Anderson... I just felt for the MMA community. Not even the MMA community, f**k that. I felt for Anderson, like, 'Oh God! He's forty-seven.' But he looked impressive."

Sean O'Malley weighs in on Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz
Following a spectacular victory over Anderson Silva, Jake Paul wasted no time in calling out Nate Diaz for a potential fight inside the squared circle. Having fought out his UFC contract successfully, a move to boxing seems to be on the horizon for the Stockton native.
Tensions between the two flared when Diaz got into a backstage altercation with Paul's team while Paul was preparing to battle Silva.
Speaking on The MMA Hour, Sean O'Malley reacted to the idea of a fight between Paul and Diaz:
“I always want to see the biggest fights. Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz is the biggest fight, that’s what I would like to see. Jake wants to be taken more seriously and fight a real boxer and go after a belt. But, you might as well fight Nate Diaz. I don’t know if Nate takes that fight. Jake looked good. It’s not like Nate looked at him and thought I could go in there and whoop him.”
