“I just want to savor everything” - Liam Harrison taking it all in as he enters twilight of his legendary career
Veteran British striker Liam Harrison is aware that his illustrious career is entering its windup, which is why he is savoring every bit of the process before he eventually calls it quits.
'Hitman' is set to make his long-awaited return to competition after two years because of a knee injury at ONE 168 in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A., on Sept. 6. He will take on Thai legend Seksan Or Kwanmuang in a catchweight (140 pounds) Muay Thai showdown, part of the event happening at the Ball Arena and airing live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
In an interview with the South China Morning Post ahead of his much-awaited return to action, Liam Harrison shared how preparation has taken even more significance for him these days.
The Leeds native said:
"I'm enjoying the training, the training is so hard at the minute. But I've enjoying the training so much, even though I'm in the depths of hell every day. I'm enjoying it. I just wanna enjoy everything, the buildup, and everything. I just want to savor everything, and because I don't know when is the last time [I'll fight]."

Liam Harrison, 38, was last in action in August 2022 when he injured his knee during his title bid against former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai king Nong-O Hama. Recovery took longer than expected but he is confident that now he is back in full strength and ready to mix it up again.
Out to give him a rude welcome back is Seksan, who is in search of a bounce-back win after seeing his eight-fight winning run stopped in his last fight back in April.

Liam Harrison looks up to upcoming opponent Seksan Or Kwanmuang and said it is a privilege to share the circle with him in their scheduled Muay Thai clash at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6.
The comebacking British striker made this known in an interview with the South China Morning Post ahead of his long-awaited comeback after two years out injured, saying:
"It's going to be exciting for everyone. I like fighting this style of fight. Seksan loves fighting this style of fight. And me and him are going to have fun. We're going to enjoy ourselves and the crowd is going to have fun. It's going to be amazing. Like I said before, he's the only legend on my list who's missing. And he's a hero of mine."
The Harrison-Seksan clash is one of five exciting Muay Thai matches on offer at ONE 168: Denver, which is ONE Championship's second live on-ground event in the United States.
