“I know that they will be coming for me” - Christian Lee believes he has a target on his back before ONE return
Reigning and undisputed ONE lightweight and welterweight MMA world champion 'The Warrior' Christian Lee of the United States is just about ready to make his way back into the world's largest martial arts organization.
The 27-year-old Singaporean-American superstar and now head of his newly opened gym in Hawaii, Prodigy Training Center, Lee is coming off a two-year hiatus to defend his belts. And he expects no shortage of opponents upon his return to action.
Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA in a recent interview, Lee says he's ready to defend both of his golden belts to the best of his abilities.
'The Warrior' said:
"I think everybody's itching to get a hold of the lightweight and welterweight belts, and I know that they will be coming for me."
In his absence, Lee has taken control of the family gym and is ready to add to the Lee legacy. However, when it's all said and done, Lee also wants to guide the next generation of stars. He believes he can do that at Prodigy Training Center.
'The Warrior' added:
"Coaching is something I am very comfortable doing. I've been coaching martial arts last 10, over 10 years already. I think coaching will be my next position after fighting."
Fans won't have to wait long to see Christian Lee back in the Circle.
