“I like going into the fire” – Liam Harrison on his desire to prove people wrong in his return from serious knee injury

British Muay Thai icon and former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title challenger 'Hitman' Liam Harrison of the United Kingdom is coming off a harrowing knee injury that has kept him out of action for nearly two years.

However, the 38-year-old fighting veteran is eager to prove that he's not only the same all-action fighter whom fans have come to love, but that he's gotten even better.

In a guest appearance on Fight Energy Films, Harrison talked about coming back from the injury and his mindset heading into his next fight.

'Hitman' said:

"It's tough because everyone is different and some people aren't as mentall strong as others. I like going into the fire. I like when I'm looking into the fire and thinking, 'Am I gonna get burned here?' I just go in anyway. I'm not scared to go into the fire."

Harrison continued:

"Everyone's gonna have a bit of self-doubt in the ring. Everyone's gonna do it. You need to look back and everyone's been through tough times. I look back, and I'm still here. I'm still going. I've got through it. I'm still here, just pushing forward."

Needless to say, fans can't wait to see Harrison back in action, and they won't have to wait very long for the 38-year-old veteran to don the 4-ounce gloves once again.
