"I'll find the opening" - Superlek confident he can land the killing blow to end Jonathan Haggerty's Muay Thai reign

Regardless of how their fight goes on Sept. 6 during the headliner of ONE 168: Denver at the Ball Arena, reigning ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 is confident of his chances against the two-sport bantamweight world champion Jonathan Haggerty.

Superlek will move up in weight to challenge Haggerty in hopes of becoming the latest member of the elite list of athletes who have captured two world titles in the ONE Championship.

Before he exchanges powerful strikes against 'The General,' 'The Kicking Machine' shares his thoughts with ONE Championship through a recent talk and is convinced that he can go toe-to-toe with him by stating:

"It doesn't matter if it's cut short of goes the distance. I'll find the opening to get the finish."

The Thai megastar currently rides a hot 10-fight win streak, which dates back to May 2022. During this stretch, he defeated the likes of Taiki Naito, Walter Goncalves, Panpayak Jitmuangnon, Daniel Puertas, Danial Williams, Nabil Anane, Tagir Khalilov, Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Takeru Segawa, and most recently, Kongthoranee Sor Sommai.

Superlek is cautious of Jonathan Haggerty's tricks up his sleeves in their Denver showdown

Like Superlek, Jonathan Haggerty is heading into this champion-versus-champion match with massive momentum and confidence, thanks to six straight victories. Through this run, the 27-year-old London native captured the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title (against Nong-O Hama in April 2023) and the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title (against Fabricio Andrade in November 2023).

Even the Kiatmoo9 Gym representative admits that he does not have any chink on his armor. Superlek talked about this in a recent interview with the world's largest martial arts organization, as he stated:

"He has a lot of tricks up his sleeves. He's in his prime with lots of confidence. I wouldn't say there are any weaknesses for him."
