“I’ll have one last dance” - Liam Harrison promises to put on one last show in his native England in 2025

Liam Harrison will lace up a pair of gloves for one final time in the same country he started his storied career.

The British legend officially announced his competitive retirement at the end of ONE 168: Denver when he fell to Thai icon Seksan in their catchweight Muay Thai bout at Ball Arena this past weekend.

Harrison, though, is eager to put on one final show for his home fans in the United Kingdom.

Taking to Instagram, Liam Harrison expressed his intentions to step between the ropes in 2025 for one last showing in his homeland.

He wrote:

"Massive thanks to all the messages from everyone, especially the UK fans. As I mentioned, don't worry I'll have one last dance in the UK next year to say goodbye to you all properly and thank you for 24 years of love, support, and encouragement 💙. "

Harrison added:

"Then I'll take all those 24 years of experience and pass them to everyone in my seminars, website, and the new @badcompanygym that opens soon."

Harrison started his professional career in 1999 and became one of the United Kingdom's best-ever fighters.

He amassed 90 career wins and captured multiple world titles in Muay Thai and kickboxing.

Harrison, however, decided to retire from active competition when he lost to Seksan via technical knockout in their 140-pound catchweight Muay Thai bout this past weekend in Denver.

Liam Harrison knew it was time to step away from the sport during his firefight with Seksan

There's no doubt that Liam Harrison is capable of pulling off the most magical moments in the sport.

He did come back from two knockdowns to drop Muangthai PK Saenchai thrice in a single round in their April 2022 clash.

However, what he experienced at the hands of Seksan in Denver made Harrison realize that his time at the top of the sport was over.

In the card's post-event press conference, Harrison said:

"I'll always get up if I get knocked down. But just a few years ago, those shots wouldn't have put me down. I'd have walked through them. And that's the thing I've got. The heart, in abundance, still. It's just that I haven't got the physical attributes I need to go with that. And if you can't take the damage, which you need to be able to take as much as you can get, I know I just can't anymore."

Liam Harrison suffered a couple of knockdowns in the second round and was visibly in a bad state when he got back up before getting knocked down for a third and final time.
