“I’ll shoot my shot on everything” - Asa Ten Pow gunning for a wild finish to spoil John Lineker’s Muay Thai debut
Asa Ten Pow understands his assignment to give a rough welcome to John Lineker in the Muay Thai ranks at ONE 168: Denver.
The American striking star is adamant that he has the capabilities to face one of the fiercest strikers in the MMA ranks, and he knows that his Muay Thai skills will be on par with Lineker.
However, with that, Ten Pow does not want to see beyond his next challenge inside the Ball Arena, in Denver, Colorado, even though there are plenty of opportunities waiting for him.
'The American Ninja' spoke to ONE Championship ahead of this barnburner brawl on Sept. 6, and said 'Hands of Stone' will be his main focus with a finish in mind:
“John Lineker is right here in front of me. He’s the target, and I’m going to finish that. Then from there, we’ll see what ONE wants to do with me, but I’ll shoot my shot on everything for sure."
Although this will be Lineker's first fight in the full-striking mode, Ten Pow will not downplay his foe's finishing power and take the win.
