“I’ll show you who I truly am” - Alexis Nicolas targets career-defining performance in world title redo against Regian Eersel

ONE lightweight kickboxing world champion Alexis Nicolas is ready to show the world that he's the real deal.

Following a solid debut performance against Magomed Magomedov at ONE Friday Fights 47, 'Barboza' shocked the world in his sophomore appearance, besting 'The Immortal' Regian Eersel to capture the lightweight kickboxing crown via unanimous decision.

Six months removed from their instant classic at ONE Fight Night 21, the two warriors will run it back when the promotion heads back to the legendary Lumpinee Stadium for a stacked ONE Fight Night 25 card, airing live on Amazon Prime Video in the United States and Canada.

Though his victory over Eersel in April was unanimous, some believe that the former champ did enough to leave the Mecca of Muay Thai with his title intact. Nicolas is determined to leave no question as to who the true lightweight kickboxing king is this time around.

"I can’t wait to make the French and Thai fans proud as they follow me more. Trust me, the first fight wasn’t just luck. I’ll show you who I truly am."

Alexis Nicolas is ready to take on anyone ONE Championship puts in front of him

While Alexis Nicolas is focused on the task at hand, the fast-rising French superstar is more than ready to take on any man that ONE Championship puts in front of him. He told Sportskeeda MMA:

"I want to fight everybody. I want to fight the best because I want to show I'm the best. I'm ready for all the opportunities."

Thus far, 'Barboza' is a perfect 24-0 in his combat sports career and has already made history in ONE Championship by becoming the promotion's first-ever French-born titleholder.

Will Nicolas add to his legacy with another impressive showing against one of the greatest strikers on the planet, or will Regian Eersel make the necessary adjustments and take his title back from the 26-year-old sensation?

ONE Fight Night 25 will air live via Amazon Prime Video in the United States and Canada on Friday, October 4 in U.S. primetime.
