“I’ll be supporting him no matter what” - Christian Lee says he’ll be in Adrian Lee’s corner through thick and thin
Reigning two-division ONE world champion Christian Lee plans to always be in the corner of his little brother, Adrian Lee, as the 18-year-old phenom works his way up the lightweight ladder.
After an impressive showing in his ONE Championship debut in June, Adrian returned to the Circle at ONE 168: Denver inside Ball Arena for a clash with promotional newcomer Nico Cornejo.
Lee needed less than a round to get the job done, submitting 'The Steel City Kid' via a rear-naked choke to go 2-0 in his mixed martial arts career.
Speaking with Sportskeeda MMA, Christian confirmed that every time his brother steps inside the Circle, he'll be right there to help guide and support him, even as he continues to navigate his career:
"Definitely I'll be coaching my brother throughout his whole career. There's no reason I won't be in his corner for any of his fights. So I'll be supporting him no matter what."
Christian Lee gears up for long-awaited return at ONE 169: Atlanta in November
With Adrian Lee's second-straight win now officially in the books, Christian Lee will turn his attention toward ONE 169: Atlanta as he marches toward his highly anticipated return to the Circle.
Emanating from State Farm Arena on Friday, Nov. 8, 'The Warrior' will put his ONE lightweight MMA world title on the line against Turkish standout Alibeg Rasulov in one of four scheduled championship bouts.
It will be his first time competing since a fourth-round TKO against Kiamrian Abbasov in November 2022 to claim the ONE welterweight MMA world title.
Since then, Rasulov has established himself as the next man in line at lightweight via an impressive showing against ex-titleholder Ok Rae Yoon at ONE Fight Night 23.
Until then, ONE Championship fans in the United States and Canada can watch the ONE 168: Denver replay on demand via Amazon Prime Video.
