"I'm always gonna put on a show" - Danial Williams ready for more challenges after ending horrid losing streak

Danial Williams came into ONE Fight Night 25 with one clear goal in mind and he was able to accomplish that. 'Mini T' has always been an anywhere, anyone, and any time kind of guy but this hasn't worked for him as of late.

Williams entered Lumpinee Stadium this past weekend without a win in his last four outings, though it should be said that two of those fights were against world champions Superlek Kiatmoo9 and Jonathan Di Bella.

The striking specialist secured a catchweight MMA victory over Banma Duoji by keeping the fight standing.

In a post-fight interview after getting his hand raised in a close fight, he spoke to Nick Atkin about his plans for the future.

His approach to fighting whoever ONE Championship puts in front of him hasn't been planned, though if he had it his way, he'd be back in the Muay Thai rule set next time out:

"Win, lose, or draw, I'm always gonna put on a show. So yeah, whoever they want me to match up with, I'm not really particularly taking any names, so just yeah. I want Muay Thai next."

Danial Williams has always competed across multiple rule sets

Dating back to the start of his run in ONE Championship, Danial Williams has always been a competitor who has jumped around various rule sets.

That being said, the best run of his career came when he was able to focus on MMA and put together a three-fight winning streak.

However, he clearly feels the most at home when he is striking, so returning to Muay Thai may allow him to really build some momentum, considering that he has been facing some of the best strikers in the world for some time now.

The replay of ONE Fight Night 25 is available on demand for Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
