“I’m always ready” - Regian Eersel says fans can expect more title defenses after reclaiming lost crown from Alexis Nicolas

Newly crowned ONE lightweight kickboxing world champion and reigning lightweight Muay Thai king 'The Immortal' Regian Eersel of Suriname and The Netherlands says fans should expect to see more of him in the ONE Championship ring now that he's a double champ again.

Eersel defeated former tormentor 'Barboza' Alexis Nicolas of France by unanimous decision in the main event of ONE Fight Night 25: Nicolas vs. Eersel II on Prime Video last weekend, and retook his throne.

Speaking to veteran reporter Nick Atkin of Bangkok Post, Eersel says he is ready to get right back in there and face whoever ONE Championship puts in front of him.

'The Immortal' said:

"We will see. Whoever ONE gives me, I will fight. I’m always ready, so we will see. I hope you enjoyed the fight, many more to come. And again, and again, and again."

Needless to say, fans would love a higher dose of Regian Eersel in ONE Championship, and they cannot wait to see 'The Immortal' back in action.

ONE Fight Night 25: Nicolas vs. Eersel II on Prime Video took place live from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, last Saturday, October 5, 2024.

Fans in the United States and Canada can catch all the action via replay on-demand with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
