"I'm here to beat him up" - Boucher Ketchup is laser-focused on knocking 'Reug Reug' out at ONE Fight Night 23

The upcoming heavyweight kickboxing fight between Boucher Ketchup and Oumar 'Reug Reug' Kane at ONE Fight Night 23 is not short of animosity despite the short buildup to the fight.

Promotional newcomer Ketchup wants to drag his fellow Senegalese behemoth back to Earth and force him to stop talking a lot of smack with a masterful performance that would humble him on fight night at Lumpinee Stadium.

Ketchup revealed this during a recent Instagram post of ONE Championship, where he said:

"I want to fight him [Reug Reug] because I see he's talking too much! Too much! And I want to stop him from talking. That's it. He said that behind my back. He doesn't see me. If he saw me face-to-face, he's not gonna say that. I'm here to beat him up, and I'm going to stop him talking a lot of ****. One knockout, that's it."

Kane has become one of the top heavyweight MMA contenders in the world's largest martial arts organization. His well-rounded skillset allowed him to record five wins and one loss in six bouts under the promotion.

But Ketchup desires to teach him a lesson for talking too much against him.

Boucher Ketchup wants to snap Reug Reug's momentum ahead of ONE 169: Atlanta

Regardless of the result of this showdown between the two Senegalese giants, 'Reug Reug' will have his world title opportunity against three-division MMA world champion Anatoly Malykhin on November 8 at ONE 169: Atlanta for the ONE heavyweight MMA world title.

But, Ketchup aims to snap Kane's current win streak of three and halt his momentum ahead of his first world title opportunity inside the State Farm Arena.

ONE Fight Night 23 will be available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America on July 5 during U.S. primetime.
