"I'm better than him" - Knockout merchant Fabricio Andrade confident he'll stop Kwon Won Il for the second time at ONE 170
Fabricio Andrade has had to wait a long time before he could return to the bantamweight MMA division.
The Brazilian proved himself to be the best in the weight class with an excellent run of performances and finishes to become the world champion.
However, in his absence from the weight class, a new top contender has emerged who believes that he is ready to overthrow 'Wonder Boy'.
Andrade isn't so sure and he has the track record to prove his claims.
At ONE 170 inside Bangkok's Impact Arena on Jan. 24, the ONE bantamweight MMA world champion will face off with Kwon Won Il in what marks his first assignment as the divisional king.
He spoke in an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA ahead of Jan. 24 about his expectations for their rematch having stopped his next opponent once before.
Fabricio Andrade believes that despite the recent form of Kwon Won Il, it won't make for a different result between them because of the levels that are at play:
"I'm just confident that I'm better than him. I'm a better fighter and I'm very sure I will find a route to stop this fight."

During Fabricio Andrade's spell on the sidelines, Kwon Won Il has been very vocal about bringing him back to the division for a rematch.
The No.3-ranked South Korean contender has finally got his wish but now he needs to deliver against a world champion that is fired up to make his comeback.
Andrade feels like he has a point to prove by showing that 'Pretty Boy' isn't in the same league as him.
