“I’m feeling super happy” - Johan Estupinan looks back on his clinical finish of Sean Climaco at ONE 168: Denver

Johan Estupinan is feeling pretty good about his performance at ONE 168: Denver.

After kicking off his ONE Championship run with back-to-back wins over Kouta Omori and Zafer Sayik, 'Panda Kick' returned to the Circle inside Ball Arena for a scrap with American-Filipino standout Sean Climaco.

Though things were a little rocky in the early going, Estupinan found his range and let up Climaco in the second round, leading to another highlight-reel knockout on martial arts' biggest global stage.

Speaking with MMA Sucka following his third-straight win in ONE and 25th overall, Estupinan said:

"I'm feeling super happy. I was a little surprised there at first because I was counting on being the one to knock somebody down. And he knocked me down a little bit."

Estupinan not only took one step closer to a potential showdown with ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon, but he also kept his 'O' intact, moving to a perfect 25-0 in the art of eight limbs.

Johan Estupinan banks 50k bonus for his second-round KO at ONE 168: Denver

For his efforts at ONE 168: Denver, Johan Estupinan earned a $50,000 bonus courtesy of ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong—a gesture he was truly grateful for during his post-fight interview with Mitch Chilson.

"This literally means everything to me, ever since I was a little kid, just watching fights on TV, and there are just not enough words to describe how proud I am," Estupinan said. "This is just a way to help my family, and this has always been my dream."

With a trio of wins inside the Circle, the only question that fans have is, what's next for the rising Colombian contender? Hopefully, we won't have to wait long to find out.
