"I'm a fighter, and I fight" - Johan Ghazali ready for the frontlines again after one-round beatdown of Josue Cruz
After earning a big victory in his career at ONE 168, Johan Ghazali told the fans and the media exactly what he wants next.
The young striker has always had high aspirations for what he wants to achieve at the very top of the sport.
Of course, though there is a lot of hype around him, winning is the most important factor in making it to that elite level.
Inside the Ball Arena in Denver this past weekend, he returned to winning ways by stopping Josue Cruz in the opening round.
Battling back from his first defeat last time out, Ghazali is now back and ready to shoot for the stars.
After the fight, he called for big clashes against the likes of Denis Puric and Freddie Haggerty, explaining his thought process in the post-fight media scrum:
"I get it if ONE Championship or Denis [Puric] doesn't want the fight to happen immediately. So I'm going to call out a few more people I want, Freddie [Haggerty]."
Rather than anything disrespectful in these callouts, Ghazali explained that he just wants to challenge himself, and having names in mind will help him to do that:
"Next fight sometime down the line, I'm just putting names out there, I'm ready to fight anyone. And yeah, because at the end of the day, that's what I do. I'm a fighter, and I fight."

Johan Ghazali doesn't need to be in a rush
As Johan Ghazali said himself on social media, he's still so young that fights with the likes of Denis Puric and Freddie Haggerty still have a lot of time to materialize.
Though Puric would be a big step up considering the fact that he just squared off with Rodtang Jitmuangnon, it won't be long before the teenager starts to target the established names at the top of the division.
In the younger brother of Jonathan Haggerty, there's another potential star who is still getting better each and every time that we see him compete.
Both are exciting match-ups for Ghazali that will be big fights whenever they happen.
