"I'm going to be a force to be reckoned with" - Luke Lessei believes he has the skills to match-up against Tawanchai, Jo Nattawut
Luke Lessei believes that as he continues to improve, he will become a serious threat to the other contenders in the featherweight Muay Thai division.
'The Chef' has put on two incredible contests since arriving in the promotion that absolutely showed that he belongs at this level.
Now Lessei hopes to build on this by putting together wins so that he can prove his real ability.
The American stand-out was able to learn a lot and gain confidence from the recent ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title fight between the world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai and Jo Nattawut.
Having faced Nattawut in his debut, he then watched as 'Smokin' Jo once again took the world champion right down to the wire with many believing that he deserved the win.
With that in mind, he believes that he isn't too far away from the big names in the division.
Lessei told Nick Atkin in a fight week interview for Sportskeeda that he will be a problem for them in the near future:
"So thinking of Jo's strengths and Tawanchai's strengths, watching the fight, I think like I said the next few fights as I get strong with this rhythm, I'm going to be a force to be reckoned with against these guys."
